　　一天下午，小明和小紅兩人，正高高興興地走在放學(xué)的路上。

　　One afternoon, Xiao Ming and Xiao Hong were walking happily on their way to school.

　　走著走著，兩個(gè)小玩伴兒突然發(fā)現(xiàn)前方不遠(yuǎn)處，有一大堆黑乎乎的東西。好奇心強(qiáng)的小明摸著腦瓜兒，問道：“那是啥呀？堆在那兒多難看呀！”“走，我們?nèi)タ纯窗�！”小紅干脆地說。跑過去一看原來是一個(gè)垃圾箱，旁邊積滿了垃圾。小紅驚奇地問：“這是怎么回事，垃圾怎么都跑出來了？”“肯定是人們隨手一扔，懶得再往前走一步把垃圾扔到垃圾箱。讓我們來把它清理干凈吧！”小明不假思索的答道。小紅盯著那一堆垃圾，說：“好！”他倆說干就干。小紅用手把垃圾弄到垃圾箱里，她說：“小明，你怎么不干呀，在一旁發(fā)什么呆呀？”小明在一旁想：干這些還不夠，我要讓人們知道亂扔垃圾是不文明的'。小明立刻從書包里拿出紙和毛筆，在紙上寫了“只差一步文明”。然后拿來膠水把紙貼在了垃圾箱上。小紅看到了，伸出大拇指直夸他聰明。

Xiaohong saw it and held out her thumb to boast of his cleverness.

　　小明說：“嗯這個(gè)辦法有沒有用呢？”小紅說：“那我們躲到對(duì)面的樹叢里，看看效果吧！”小明利索地回答：“OK！”他們躲到了樹叢里，目不轉(zhuǎn)睛地盯著垃圾桶。不一會(huì)兒，就有一位大叔走了過來。他觀察了四周無人，正準(zhǔn)備隨手一丟，可是看到了小明的標(biāo)語后，便自覺地把垃圾扔進(jìn)了垃圾箱。

　　Xiaoming said, "well, does this method work?" Xiaohong said, "let's hide in the opposite trees and see the effect!" Xiaoming replied quickly, "OK!" They hid in the trees and stared at the garbage can. Soon, an uncle came. He observed that there was no one around him and was about to throw it away.
