　　Nowadays, when we talk about Macao, we all know that it belongs to China. But a long time ago, it’s robbed by Portuguesa. At the midnight of December 20, 1999, the Portuguese and China government held a handover ceremony at the Macao cultural center, which meant Chinese government has resumed the exercise of sovereignty over Macao and Macao returned to the motherland. As it is a great thing in the journey of China achieves the great cause of reunification, people make December 20th every year as the returning anniversary of Macao.

　　如今，只要我們說(shuō)起澳門(mén)的時(shí)候，我們都知道它是屬于中國(guó)的。但是很久以前，它是被葡萄牙占領(lǐng)的。1999年12月20日零時(shí)，中葡兩國(guó)政府在澳門(mén)文化中心舉行政權(quán)交接儀式，中國(guó)政府對(duì)澳門(mén)恢復(fù)行使主權(quán)，澳門(mén)回歸祖國(guó)。由于這在中華民族實(shí)現(xiàn)統(tǒng)一大業(yè)的`旅途中的一盛舉，所以大家把每年的12月20日定為澳門(mén)回歸紀(jì)念日。

Macao’s area is very small, but it is one of the most densely populated places in the world, as well as one of the high incomes of per capital in Asia. It is an international metropolis.

　　澳門(mén)以前是個(gè)小漁村。但是，在后來(lái)的四百多年時(shí)間里，東西文化一直在此地相互交融，留下了許多歷史文化遺產(chǎn)，使澳門(mén)成為一個(gè)獨(dú)特的城市。澳門(mén)的面積很小，是世界上人口最稠密的地方之一，也是亞洲人均收入比較高的地區(qū)。它是一個(gè)國(guó)際化的都市。

Finally we did it, the return ofMacaureminds us ofTaiwan, which also is part of our country, today we still haven’t taken it back.

　　Though the process is long to make it return, we are confident that somedayTaiwanwill return to our country.

　　人們等待這個(gè)時(shí)刻將近50年，在政府的'努力下，葡萄牙撤離澳門(mén)，讓澳門(mén)回到了她的母親—中國(guó)。眾所周知，澳門(mén)是中國(guó)的一部分，即使我們失去了它大概半個(gè)世紀(jì)，政府不會(huì)放棄把它要回來(lái)。最后我們成功了，澳門(mén)的回歸讓我們想起了臺(tái)灣，臺(tái)灣也是中國(guó)的一部分，今天我們還沒(méi)把臺(tái)灣收回來(lái)。

　　雖然讓臺(tái)灣回歸的過(guò)程很漫長(zhǎng)，但是我們有信心臺(tái)灣總有一天會(huì)回歸祖國(guó)。
