　　The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Bird flu and Sars are twotypical examples that environmental destruction may threaten our life. Besides, forest destruction , water and air pollution result in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather.

　　由于環(huán)境遭到破壞，我們生活的世界正變得越來(lái)越難以忍受，禽流感和SARS是兩個(gè)典型的例子，對(duì)環(huán)境的破壞，可能危及自己的生命。除此之外，森林砍伐、水質(zhì)污染和空氣污染導(dǎo)致耕地減少，氣候愈發(fā)惡劣。

　　Serious as the problem seems, we can come up with some measures to deal with it. First of all, the authorities should adopt the policy of "sustainable development", and laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforced strictly just as our government has been doing.

　　這是個(gè)很嚴(yán)重的問(wèn)題，但我們可以想出一些解決問(wèn)題的方法。首先，政府機(jī)關(guān)應(yīng)該采取“可持續(xù)發(fā)展”政策，有關(guān)環(huán)境保護(hù)的法律應(yīng)該要付諸實(shí)施，并且要像我國(guó)政府一直在做的那樣，嚴(yán)格執(zhí)法。

　　What' s more, every citizen should realize the seriousness of the problem and make concerted efforts to protect our environment. In addition, planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment.

　　另一方面，每個(gè)公民都應(yīng)該明白問(wèn)題的嚴(yán)重性，并為保護(hù)我們的環(huán)境而一起努力。此外，植樹(shù)有利于改善和美化環(huán)境。
