Dear friends:

　　I’m very proud that I have chosen to speak to you all today.

　　As we all know, the environment around us is getting worse and worse .In some places we can’t see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills. Some people even have no clean water to drink.

　　So I think we must do something to protect the environment. But what can we do? How to protect our environment ? For example ,we can go to school on foot or by bike .

　　We had better use shopping baskets not plastic bags when we go shopping .We should use both sides of the paper when we write .In a word ,if everyone pays more attention to our environment ,there will be less pollution and our life will be better.

　　“There is only one earth”, I hope everyone will protect our environment well.

Dear teachers, students everybody is good!

　　The title of my speech today is: "protect the environment, start from the spot."

　　As we all know the per person per day to save a piece of paper, a year can save much paper? 4745 sheets of paper, also can cut less 1.581666 million trees a year, "1.581666 million" this is what a staggering! In this sense, save paper, afforestation.

　　Car is also damage the environment a great sinner, day after day he exhaust, contains large amounts of carbon dioxide. Is the earth to produce "greenhouse effect", "the temperature gradually warming, gradually melting glaciers, sea level rise, land area will reduce gradually. Scientists expect that by 20xx, China will have 48 cities, under the threat of flooding in different city. At our side, there are not many environmentally friendly behaviors... So to protect the environment is not a moment to rest.

　　So, how do we protect the environment? Use paper, a use up dont throw away, can be used on the back, both sides after use, fold it up and sent to the recycling paper mill. Drive is the same, let parents to drive a car to work less, more than ride a bike, can exercise the body, and can reduce carbon emissions, so it is with open air conditioning, we less open air conditioning, electric fan, additional variety of some trees and flowers, so to protect the environment and help?

　　The students in small power is power, a root chopsticks a break, the three and five? We must pay attention to environmental protection, with students as the "green small guard!"

　　Earth looks like a big blue marble; from high above the Earth and from the moon, the planet gleams and shines. The blue water in the oceans and seas of the Earth makes a dramatic image.Water is the source of this beauty and the source of life on Earth. It is the reason people can live on this planet. Water is everywhere. Water is in rock deep under the ground, in natural holding areas.In a real sense, water keeps Earth alive.

　　The last drop of water will be the worlds human tears. We Chinese are one of the 12 water-poor countries, as people waste, water less and less. However, there are many waste of water, for example: some of the children bought water gun filled with water shooting water everywhere; there are some students hand-washing after washing bowls, or not turn off the faucet, waste a lot of water... .... Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, where the recent prolonged drought, making survival of the population there is facing a serious threat to address this problem, we in China 1.3 billion to develop awareness of water conservation. Therefore, I appeal to you here: "Take action at water saving

　　My name is zhang guotao.Today I am very excited to stand here to tell you about environment.

　　When I was youngI always dreamed that I lived in a beautiful country. There were many flowers and trees around our city.We counld hear the birds singing and see the children dancing. The streets were clear and the the air was very fresh! How nice it was!But that only was a dream of mine!How I wish that it would be come true! So I think we should do something to protect our environment. Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment. Taking care of our environment is very important.wherever you liveyou can do something around your neighbourhood.

　　Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground?Have you ever drawn pictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place?Have you ever cut down trees?If your answers are "No"it means that you have already helped protect our environment.

　　It is our duty to keep our envionment clean and tidy. You might ask yourself"Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling?Have I ever planted any trees or flowers in or near my neighbourhood?"If your answers are"Yes"it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment.

　　Now I want to say :Let`s do our best to make our world more beautiful!
