　　Tom: What a day at the library!

　　Lily: Why, what happened, Tom?

　　Tom: I was deeply absorbed in reading this fascinating novel last night at the library. A guy came in and sat right next to me. Barely had he sat down when he started munching on some really noisy chips.

　　Lily: Oh no! Thats so inconsiderate. What did you do?

　　Tom: I gave him a look, hoping hed get the hint. But he just kept going. The crunching sound was so loud that it was impossible for me to focus. People around us were also throwing annoyed glances at him.

　　Lily: Then what?

　　Tom: I decided to talk to him politely. I said, "Excuse me, sir. This is a library. Could you please stop eating those noisy chips?"
