a number of 和the number of的區(qū)別

　　意為“許多，大量”，后加可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)。作主語時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)。

　　意為“......的數(shù)量”，后加可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)。作主語時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)。

　　修飾可數(shù)名詞,就像some,many,lots of,a lot of那樣的.注意a number of修飾的可數(shù)名詞要用復(fù)數(shù)形式,be動(dòng)詞也要用復(fù)數(shù)（即are,具體因時(shí)態(tài)而定）!
