Lesson 68 ( The fourth period )
一、Teaching aims and demands.
通過(guò)本課文的學(xué)習(xí)，復(fù)習(xí)鞏固時(shí)間、條件狀語(yǔ)從句及一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)；進(jìn)一步掌握本單元的語(yǔ)法項(xiàng)目。
二、Organization. Be omitted.
三、Revision.
四、Teaching of new lesson.
1．Listen to the tape and do the exercises on Page 76.
2．Listening: Listen to the tape for Lesson 68, then read after it alound.
3．Drills and practice:
1) Read the sentences and then write “Right” or “Wrong” about them.
2) Complete the words and then write the story in your own words.
4．Language points. （用幻燈顯示）
1）Stop making to much noise!
該句是祈使句。Stop doing sth.意為“停止做某事”。noise是不可數(shù)名詞，沒(méi)有復(fù)數(shù)形式。如：
There is so much noise in the room. I can’t do anything in it.
房間里那么吵鬧，我在里面不能做任何事。
2）Don’t invite too many. 不要邀請(qǐng)?zhí)嗟娜恕?/p>
該句是否定式祈使句。它由Don’t +動(dòng)詞原形構(gòu)成的。如：
Don’t shout at the old man. 別對(duì)那位老人叫喊。
3）You are telling people that they must go at 9:00.
你要告訴人們?cè)诰劈c(diǎn)鐘必須走。
that是連詞，引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句，表示陳述意思。如：
They said that they were having a good time at the party.
他們說(shuō)他們?cè)诰蹠?huì)上玩得很痛快。
4）In fact, they were still there at midnight when the doorbell rang…
事實(shí)上，當(dāng)門(mén)鈴響時(shí)，他們?cè)诎胍谷匀辉谀抢铩?/p>
in fact是介詞短語(yǔ)當(dāng)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)，at midnight意為“在半夜”，midnight前面不加冠詞。when是連詞，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句。
5）They felt sorry they had to leave.
他們覺(jué)得很抱歉他們不得不離開(kāi)了。
had to是have to的過(guò)去式。they had to leave是賓語(yǔ)成分。

A．句型轉(zhuǎn)換：
1．Jack can help me to do the work.（改為一般疑問(wèn)句）
2．What does Li Ping usually want to do on Sunday morning?.（用nest Sunday morning改寫(xiě)）
3．Liu Ying is never late for school.（改為反意疑問(wèn)句）
4．They will go skating tomorrow. It won’t rain.（用if連成復(fù)合句）
B． 漢譯英：
1. 我弟弟四歲時(shí)他會(huì)讀和寫(xiě)了。 .
2. 現(xiàn)在她能照顧自己。 .
3. 他聽(tīng)到那消息時(shí)哭得很傷心。 .
